Raytheon Australia is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Advisor to join a fast-moving Defence-focused team. You will build relationships across internal and external stakeholders, drive WHS compliance, and lead risk assessments while supporting continuous improvement and incident investigations.

Formación

• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety required.
• ICAM Lead Investigator certification and/or equivalent practical experience preferred.
• Construction White Card is mandatory.
• Valid 'C' Class Driver's license required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including health & safety representatives, workgroups, customer representatives and sub-contractors, deploying a stakeholder management plan.
• Achieve and maintain compliance with the Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Act 2011 and relevant jurisdictional requirements.
• Conduct various types of health and safety assessments, including risk assessments, job safety analysis, ergonomic assessments, manual handling assessments and hazardous substance risk assessments.
• Partner with site leaders and managers to proactively respond to environment, health and safety issues, undertake investigations to determine causes, corrective actions and improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to and facilitate implementation of policies, plans, procedures and processes, including reporting and records management.
• Promote and coordinate program engagement processes to deliver the Environment, Health and Safety Plan.
• Travel may be required to fulfil the requirements of this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively promote and coordinate program engagement processes and initiatives to deliver the company's Environment, Health and Safety Plan.
• Travel may be required to fulfil the requirements of this role.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.
• ICAM Lead Investigator.
• Construction White Card.
• 'C' Class Driver's license.

Successful candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a baseline security clearance as needed.
