Saab Australia is seeking an Advanced Hardware Test Engineer to verify, validate and accept complex defence systems. You will design test jigs, develop test plans and guide FAT and environmental qualification through the product lifecycle.

You will collaborate across hardware, systems, quality and manufacturing teams to ensure robust performance in demanding environments and support Design for Test considerations throughout development.

Qualifications

• Experience with hardware verification, validation and FAT for complex systems.
• Ability to develop test plans and verification evidence for hardware.
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC testing in regulated sectors.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and document hardware test jigs, fixtures and equipment.
• Create and execute hardware test plans, procedures and reports.
• Manage FAT and environmental qualification activities.
• Review designs for testability (DFT/DFM).
• Support EMI/EMC, vibration and environmental testing per standards.
• Investigate failures and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain data in ERP/PLM for manufacturing and quality requirements.
• Participate in technical reviews and customer acceptance activities.
