Saab Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an Advanced Hardware Test Engineer in Adelaide to lead verification, validation and FAT for mission-critical defence systems. You will design test jigs, execute test plans and manage products through qualification stages.

You will collaborate with hardware, systems, quality and manufacturing teams to ensure robust performance across environmental conditions. A strong background in hardware test methodologies and EMI/EMC testing is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related engineering discipline.
• Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer in Australia.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and document hardware test jigs and fixtures for verification and production acceptance.
• Develop and execute hardware test plans, procedures, reports and acceptance documentation.
• Manage hardware products through FAT, environmental qualification and verification activities.
• Review hardware designs for DFT/DFM considerations.
• Support EMI/EMC, vibration, shock and environmental qualification testing to Defence standards.
• Investigate test failures and perform root cause analysis with design teams.
• Develop and maintain product structures and engineering data within ERP/PLM environments to support manufacturing and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
