Job summary

KBR, Inc. is looking for a Senior Engineer in Canberra to support Acquisition & Sustainment lifecycle engineering within the GWEO program. This role involves leading engineering planning and execution across Defence projects, focusing on technical governance and lifecycle management of critical systems. Candidates should have 8–10+ years of experience in Defence or complex engineering, strong systems engineering and configuration management skills, and eligibility for Engineering Authority within an AEO. Qualifications

• 8–10+ years’ experience in Defence or complex engineering environments.
• Strong systems engineering and configuration management experience.
• Eligible for Engineering Authority within an Authorised Engineering Organisation (AEO).

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex Defence engineering activities within GWEO programs.
• Manage project scope, schedule, risk, and budget performance.
• Provide engineering advice to Defence stakeholders and support technical reporting.
