Qualifications

Working in a supportive and truly flexible environment, you will partner directly with key leaders to shape financial narratives and drive operational efficiencies across Australia’s largest retailer. It is a fantastic opportunity to bring your technical expertise to a purpose-driven team while expanding your senior stakeholder network and accelerating your career.What you'll do:Lead the preparation of high-profile financial reports, profit announcements, and analyst presentations for public release, the Board, and Executive leadership.Draft key finance papers, detailed reports, and strategic analysis directly for the CFO and Audit Committee.Deliver expert technical advice and ensure ongoing compliance with accounting standards across business unit finance teams.Partner with the Finance Manager to identify, design, and implement operational efficiencies across key team processes.Spearhead the preparation of the Group’s half-year and annual Financial Reports, alongside quarterly balance sheet and P&L reviews.Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors regarding group financial reporting and audit processes.What you'll bring:CA or CPA qualification with 4–6 years of experience across accounting firms, large ASX-listed entities, or the FMCG/retail sector.Proven track record in preparing complex internal and external financial reports tailored for Group Executives and Board members.Outstanding communication skills with the capability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, paired with a collaborative, cross-functional approach.Demonstrated project management capability alongside advanced Excel skills (SAP and OneStream system experience highly regarded).What you’ll experienceA global business with endless career possibilities around every corner and across every discipline – with valuable exposure to a vast and exciting business networkAccess to Sonder.
