Job summary

The University of Western Australia (UWA) seeks a skilled lead for turf management and grounds maintenance across multiple campus sites. You will drive planning, renovation, fertilisation and pest management while advising on best practices to sustain high-quality sporting and recreational facilities.

You will coordinate contractors, ensure safety and service standards, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver efficient, safe grounds operations at one of Australia’s leading universities.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV Sports Turf Management or equivalent competency required.
• Experience managing grounds and turf projects including sports fields and turf cricket wickets.
• Knowledge of best-practice maintenance and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and oversight of turf management and grounds maintenance across UWA sites.
• Provide specialist advice on turf renovation, fertilisation, and pest/weed management.
• Coordinate and supervise grounds maintenance contractors to meet standards.
