Responsibilities

• Operate various machinery and equipment required for maintenance tasks
• Improve soil quality for lawns and turf, promoting healthy plant nutrition and growth
• Control weeds, pests, diseases, and disorders affecting plants and turf areas
• Renovate and construct sports turf facilities
• Follow safety protocols and equipment operation

About You

You may not have any prior experience in the sports turf management field, but you are a proven hard worker and are motivated and keen to learn new skills. Your can-do attitude will underpin your success in this role.

You are mature and are able to deal with people from all walks of life.

You already have, or are prepared to obtain, a White Card and Working with Children Check. Although not an absolute requirement, if you have a current drivers' licencethis will be looked upon favourably.

You must be an Australian citizen to satisfy the government requirements in relation to the schooling component of the apprenticeship.
