Job summary

Bed Bath N’ Table is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to lead our graphic design team and drive excellence across marketing campaigns, packaging and digital experiences. You will mentor designers and set creative direction across brand initiatives.

The role requires 5+ years in a senior design position, strong Adobe skills, and experience with AI image generation. Hybrid work in Melbourne is offered with opportunities to influence future processes.

Responsibilities

• Leading and mentoring a team of Graphic Designers
• Providing art direction and creative leadership across brand campaigns
• Creating high-quality visual content for digital, print and retail environments
• Managing design projects from concept development through to finished artwork
• Designing and developing packaging across multiple product categories
• Collaborating with Marketing, Product, Visual Merchandising and Creative teams
• Managing external supplier and print production relationships
• Reviewing and approving creative work to ensure brand consistency and quality
• Identifying opportunities to leverage generative AI and emerging creative technologies responsibly and effectively
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard

We're looking for an experienced Senior Graphic Designer to lead our talented Graphic Design team and drive creative excellence across our multi-channel marketing, brand campaigns, packaging, and digital experiences.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Senior Graphic Designer, you'll combine hands-on design expertise with people leadership to deliver compelling creative solutions across all customer touchpoints.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and mentoring a team of Graphic Designers
• Providing art direction and creative leadership across brand campaigns
• Creating high-quality visual content for digital, print and retail environments
• Managing design projects from concept development through to finished artwork
• Designing and developing packaging across multiple product categories

About You

You'll be a creative leader with a strong portfolio, excellent commercial design skills and a passion for developing high-performing teams.

You’ll bring:

• Graphic Design qualification or equivalent experience
• 5+ years' experience in a similar senior design role
• Experience with AI image generation
• Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
• Strong digital design capability across web, eDM, social media and online advertising
• Print production and finished art expertisePackaging design experience from concept through to production
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Experience leading, coaching or mentoring design teams

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
