Job summary

Chandler Macleod is seeking an experienced Procurement Partner (Level 5) for a State Government procurement team based in East Perth. This 3‑month engagement offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to strategic sourcing, procurement and contract management within a complex public sector environment.

You will provide specialist procurement advice to business areas, lead market approaches, evaluations and negotiations, ensure compliance with WA procurement policies, and build strong

Qualifications

• Demonstrated procurement and contract management experience in government or large organisations.
• Mandatory familiarity with Western Australian Government procurement processes and frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of governance, policies and legislation related to procurement.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert procurement and contract management advice to business areas.
• Lead procurement activities including market approaches, evaluations, negotiations and contract establishment.
• Support the planning and delivery of procurement strategies and sourcing initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with WA Government procurement policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
• Develop and manage contract documentation, variations and performance monitoring.
• Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
