Job summary

FinXL is recruiting a Senior Developer - Google Workspace to join our Cloud Practice on a 12+ month government engagement in Australia. The role combines hands-on engineering with secure cloud integration in air-gapped environments, delivering Gmail/Drive/Calendar/Meet and related services.

You will configure and optimize Google Workspace and GCP infrastructure, apply robust security and access controls, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure performance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on development or engineering experience with Google Workspace and cloud productivity tools.
• Solid knowledge of public cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and security practices.
• Experience deploying in high-security or air-gapped environments is a plus.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with government program teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on engineering for secure Google Workspace apps (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet).
• Integrate cloud productivity tools within a secure, air-gapped hyperscale environment.
• Configure GCP infrastructure including storage, networking, and security controls.
• Implement security controls and compliance configurations for federal agency projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable deployment scripts and automation.
• Support initial system setups and travel to client facilities during launch phases.
• Troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvements.
