Job summary

Flying Bark Productions is seeking a Workforce Planning Specialist to oversee internal workforce planning across the studio network. You will forecast demand, model scenarios, and partner with Production, Recruitment, IT and People & Culture to ensure proactive resourcing aligned with business goals.

You will translate data into actionable insights, manage cross-functional projects, and drive automation and system improvements to optimise workforce capacity globally.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in workforce planning, resource management or production scheduling.
• Experience within animation, VFX or film/TV production preferred.
• Strong data analysis, reporting and insights generation.
• Experience leading or contributing to system implementations, data migrations and automation projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets with complex formulas.
• Experience with automation tools or process improvements.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of workforce plans for productions and forecasting.
• Create scenario models and allocate internal capability across productions.
• Provide resourcing forecasts and budget forecasts for scheduling.
• Own global workforce planning across multiple studios with enterprise alignment.
• Provide senior leadership with insights on capacity, risk and opportunities.
• Collaborate with People, Recruitment, IT and Production on data and systems.
• Translate workforce data into actionable insights for planning.
• Identify trends and escalate risks proactively.
• Support cross-functional projects and automation initiatives.
• Build and improve reporting tools, dashboards and models.
