Job summary

Northrop Grumman Australia seeks an experienced Senior Principal Compliance Officer to provide governance across export controls and customs. Based at our Fortitude Valley office, you will advise the Senior Manager Global Trade and influence program and supplier compliance in a highly regulated Defence environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law or relevant field is required.
• Experience interpreting legislation across export-control matters.
• Experience obtaining permits and licences end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex compliance matters and drive corrective actions.
• Strengthen Global Trade policies, procedures and training.
• Manage risk assessments, audits and compliance improvements.
• Navigate export/import authorisations, permits and licences.
• Support supplier export-control compliance and screening.
• Monitor regulatory changes and translate requirements into guidance.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to solve complex challenges.
