Job summary

Paxus in Australia is seeking a Principal Spatial Administrator to lead enterprise GIS, data, and spatial technology strategy. You will oversee day-to-day GIS operations, data integrity, and performance across platforms, ensuring secure, reliable, high-quality spatial services.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, guide GIS enhancements, and mentor a skilled team while staying abreast of emerging geospatial technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Experience managing GIS environments across enterprise platforms.
• Expert knowledge of the ESRI ArcGIS Platform (ArcGIS Pro, Enterprise, Online).
• Proficiency with FME and geospatial data workflows.
• Proficient in Python, SQL and/or Arcade scripting.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and prioritisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day enterprise GIS and spatial data management.
• Ensure systems are secure, reliable, and high-performing.
• Lead configuration, maintenance and optimisation of GIS platforms.
• Maintain data integrity, standards and metadata across datasets.
• Provide expert technical advice and escalate issues when needed.
