Job summary

The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners Ltd invites applications for a Staff Specialist (Geriatrician) to lead geriatric medicine services at Bundaberg Hospital and drive modern care models for frail older people across acute, subacute, ambulatory, community and virtual settings.

The successful applicant will hold a medical degree, be registered with AHPRA, and have RACP fellowship with ongoing CPD.

Qualifications

• Medical qualification from a registered tertiary institution.
• Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) with current annual practising certificate.
• Fellowship of the Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) with CPD and good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior clinical leadership in geriatric medicine.
• Lead and deliver geriatric services across acute, subacute, ambulatory, community and virtual settings.
• Drive contemporary models of care for frail older persons.
