A leading mining company is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Carrapateena. This role involves leading a team to manage geotechnical operations for safety and success in mining projects, requiring solid experience in underground hard rock geotechnical engineering and team management skills. The position operates on a FIFO schedule of 8 days on and 6 days off.

The Carrapateena Mine Technical and Technology Team is accountable for delivering value at the Asset in the short, medium and long term, against the needs of all stakeholders. With an immediate and core focus on delivery production outcomes, they have a secondary focus on leading the expansion of the mine by transitioning from a Sub Level Cave to a Block Cave – this will extend the Carrapateena mine life beyond 2039.
