Harmony Australasia seeks a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to identify geotechnical hazards and implement practical mitigation strategies. The role is based onsite at CSA Mine, Cobar, NSW, on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Brisbane or Sydney with local candidates welcome.
You will contribute to long-term mine design, develop monitoring and seismic systems, maintain geotechnical databases, and mentor the team while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations across the operation.
Reporting to the Geotechnical, Survey & Backfill Superintendent, the Senior Geotechnical Engineer is responsible for identifying potential geotechnical hazards and mitigating risks by providing sound and practical geotechnical strategies.
This role will be based onsite in Cobar, NSW working an 8/6 days FIFO roster from Brisbane or Sydney with local candidates highly regarded.
