Job summary

Northern Star Resources Limited is seeking a Senior Geologist – Resources for the Jundee Operations, reporting to the Geology Superintendent. You will lead a team of Project and Resource Geologists, overseeing resource modelling, estimation and reporting to support mine planning and the business.

The role involves leading the team, ensuring data quality, QA/QC compliance and collaboration with Engineering, with a 8/6 roster and FIFO from Perth.

Qualifications

Degree in Geology from a recognised tertiary institution.
7+ years in mining/exploration geology with 3+ years in resource modelling of narrow-vein gold deposits.
Production geology experience in underground/open pit environments.

Responsibilities

Lead the Resource Geology team, setting standards and developing technical capability.
Oversee integrity of grade control and resource models before handover to Engineering.
Prepare and review data for annual and bi-annual Resource and Reserve reporting.
Monitor QA/QC, assay lab performance and geological data quality; implement corrective actions.
