Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants in Perth is seeking a senior Geologist to lead geochemical assessments, tailings management and environmental projects. You will provide technical direction, oversee data quality, and mentor a growing team across mining, manufacturing, finance/legal/property, and government sectors.

The role requires extensive field seasons, design of sampling and QA plans, and the ability to travel interstate and abroad. A strong geoscience background and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Fieldwork across sediment, tailings, rock, and water sampling according to regulatory standards.
• Design and implementation of sampling and QA plans for mine waste and water management.
• Strong knowledge of geochemical data and tailings management practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical direction and quality reviews of data and reports, including global teams.
• Lead and contribute to assessment reports, management plans, and proposals/tender submissions.
• Engage with clients and multidisciplinary teams across local and international projects.
