Job summary

Kogan.com is seeking a General Counsel to lead the legal, regulatory and governance function across the Kogan Group. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a lawyer who can give sharp, practical advice at pace and act as a trusted partner to the business.

The role welcomes candidates with at least four years' post-qualification experience, including in-house lawyers ready to step up; prior in-house or Deputy General Counsel experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Australian lawyer with legal practice rights
• At least four years' post-qualification experience
• Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts
• Familiarity with ASX listing rules and governance matters

Responsibilities

• Lead legal, regulatory and governance across the group
• Provide sharp, practical guidance to the business at pace
• Brief and manage external counsel on regulatory matters
• Advise on marketing, product compliance and privacy
• Support board engagement and governance processes
• Drive scalable legal processes with a pragmatic mindset
