Job summary

KPMG is seeking an experienced Commercial / Corporate Lawyer to join the Office of General Counsel in Melbourne. This in-house generalist role covers a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, regulatory issues and disputes management.

The successful candidate will draft and negotiate contracts, review product offerings, advise on tender documents, and collaborate with internal clients and external counsel.

Qualifications

• Experience in litigation, disputes or reputation matters.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Exposure to corporate law matters.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience building relationships with internal clients at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and negotiating general contracts and commercial agreements.
• Reviewing new products and service offerings.
• Providing legal advice in relation to tender documents and client service offerings.
• Liaising closely with the business and external counsel.
• Providing legal advice in relation to and the management of potential disputes.
