Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional experience in a full-stack development role, demonstrating progressive responsibility.
  • Experience with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
  • Experience deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms.
  • Experience deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP).

Responsibilities

  • Architect and manage database schemas, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization.

About the Opportunity

With our Digital team expanding we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Developer to join our Digital team in Melbourne.

As our Senior Full Stack Software Developer you’re responsible for demonstrating capability in building scalable digital applications. You’ll support the overall performance of the Digital team by developing robust and secure apps with intuitive user interfaces and proactively mitigate cybersecurity risks.

In this role you will take ownership of end‑to‑end building, deploying and maintaining software applications. You will be responsible for:

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure server‑side logic and APIs.
  • Architect and manage database schemas, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization.
  • Integrate user‑facing elements developed by front‑end developers with server‑side logic.
  • Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders including frontend developers, product managers,
  • Ensure all solutions meet TBH’s high quality and security standards.
What you’ll bring

As our successful candidate you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related field (or equivalent proven professional experience).
  • 7+ years of professional experience in a full‑stack development role, demonstrating progressive responsibility.
  • Back‑End Development experience in Node.js (Expert Level), Python (Intermediate Level) including experience with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
  • Frontend Development, React (Expert Level)
  • Experience deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP).
