Job summary

Automic Group in Sydney is seeking experienced Full Stack Engineers to design and evolve our cloud-native registry platform. You will develop robust backend services with Java, Spring/Spring Boot and integrate Angular front-ends with RESTful APIs while adhering to security, governance, and data protection standards.

Work closely with business analysts, product owners, operations and sales to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• At least 5 years’ experience in OO programming using Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
• Commercial experience with Angular and RESTful services.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Experience in financial services or financial markets desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure security, governance, and data protection in ISMS.
• Design scalable, maintainable OO systems and components.
• Develop backend services using Java, Spring, Spring Boot.
• Build modular code across backend, frontend, and integrations.
• Support Agile planning, estimation, and progress tracking.
• Maintain automated tests and production system support.
• Identify performance, resilience, and security improvements.
• Improve engineering practices, tooling, and development standards.
