Job summary

Nylon is hiring senior full-stack engineers (backend-heavy) to own product surfaces end to end: architecture, delivery and operational excellence. You’ll collaborate with product from ideation through to production, then iterate on real usage.

Your work lands with thousands of firms across NZ, AU and the UK, and you’ll be based in Sydney while working with our NZ team. We’re hiring to own four key surfaces, with one primary surface and cross-surface collaboration across the answer experience,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Ability to own a system from design to production and operate it.
• Take ownership, bias toward action, and own outcomes.
• Decompose hard problems and reason in trade-offs, out loud and in writing.
• Experience using AI tooling to ship faster and explore future directions.

Responsibilities

• Own product surfaces end to end: architecture, delivery and production health.
• Take features from idea to production and iterate based on real usage.
• Maintain production health, observability, performance and incident response.
• Collaborate with the product and engineering teams across multiple surfaces.
