EBR Ever Better Recruitment – Brisbane QLD is hiring multiple Full Stack Developers. You will build customer-facing web apps for policy and claims, plus internal tools, within a team of 60 developers and testers overlooking the Brisbane river.

Responsibilities include designing Java 8/TypeScript code, cloud micro-services, front-end work in TS/AngularJS, and contributing to CI/CD with AWS deployments. A collaborative Scrum environment supports continuous improvement.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of commercial web development experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Java 8.
• Excellent knowledge of Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Knowledge of SQL and ORM technologies.
• Familiar with React, Angular or Vue.
• Understanding of cloud deployment with Docker and AWS.
• Experience with monitoring tools (New Relic/Sumo Logic).
• Experience with AWS services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, SQS.
• Knowledge of micro-service and message bus design patterns.
• Proficient with Atlassian tools: JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo.
• Source control with Git.
• Understanding of OWASP security implications.
• Financial services background is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop Java 8/Typescript code to deliver sprint goals.
• Contribute to Java cloud micro-service architecture design.
• Contribute to front-end Typescript/AngularJS development.
• Help build CI/CD pipelines and AWS deployment infrastructure.
• Take ownership of the product and propose improvements.
• Contribute to unit, integration and end-to-end testing best practices.
• Ensure polished UI/UX across web applications.
• Work in a cross-functional Scrum team and participate in ceremonies.
• Support deployment activities as needed.
• Perform other reasonable duties to meet operational needs.
