Job summary

NSW Department of Customer Service is seeking Senior Developers for 35-hour weeks on a full-time, temporary basis up to 12 months. Hybrid working across Revenue NSW offices with a flexible location, offering a starting salary of 133,348 AUD plus super.

The successful candidate will contribute to multi-program digital transformations, building modern front-end and back-end services, and aligning with industry standards. Closing date 16 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience in frontend and backend development for large digital transformation programs.
• Strong knowledge of React.js and RESTful API integration.
• Experience with Spring Boot and cloud-native deployments.

Responsibilities

• Be a hands-on developer delivering solutions that meet business needs and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure quality and best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation (architecture, codebase, practices).
• Participate in testing and QA efforts.
• Communicate effectively to manage customer expectations.
