• Ability to hold a forklift licence (training will be provided).
• Operational or manufacturing environment experience (ideally in the dangerous goods industry) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Overall safety, operation and maintenance of Kalgoorlie Terminal.
• Receipt, safe handling and storage of fuel products.
• Operational tasks associated with maintenance and product quality including product transfers, product sampling and testing.
• Raising maintenance work notifications, work clearances, gas testing, permitting, and Lock out Tag out.
• Hot oil systems operations, Interceptor operations and storm water management
• Valve, transfer and gantry operations.
• Shipping, bunkering, and Rail/Tanker loading/unloading.
• Emergency response and incident control.
• Preparation and submission of daily stock sheets.
• Participation in HSSE assurance activities, audits, emergency response, work insights in the context of maintaining our safety management systems.
• Undertaking basic housekeeping duties in relation to operational areas, and work area/site.
• Ad hoc audits and interaction with drivers and their fleet vehicles for compliance and safe operations.
