Job summary

bp in Australia is seeking a highly skilled QA/Technical Services professional to join the RAFT team. You will become a subject matter expert in fuel quality (diesel, jet, gasoline) and support ANZ supply chains to ensure fuels remain legal, on-spec and fit-for-purpose.

You’ll engage with product quality networks, contribute to quality investigations, and participate in audits of terminals and service providers. Travel up to 10% and on-call rotations are part of the role.

Qualifications

• University degree in science (preferably chemistry), engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience in product quality or product management of fuel industry supply chains.
• Knowledge of specifications, laboratory testing, and test methods.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal communication across diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide QA and technical services to ensure on-spec, quality fuel supply chains.
• Act as SME in fuel quality across ANZ networks and advise on risk and value.
• Participate in product quality networks to discuss issues and share lessons learned.
• Support audit programs verifying quality standards with terminals and service providers.
• Travel within ANZ up to 10% and join global calls as needed.
