Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a Senior Policy Officer to join the Freight and Rail Policy team within the Safety, Policy, Environment and Regulation division. The role spans multi-modal freight and rail passenger policy and supports reforms and regulatory changes.

You will develop evidence-based policy, research complex issues, prepare clear advice, and drive legislative initiatives in partnership with internal teams, government agencies, and industry stakeholders.

• Develop practical policy solutions to inform government decision-making.
• Engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
