Job summary

The Australian Taxation Office is seeking motivated, capable and values-driven individuals to join Fraud Prevention and Internal Investigations as an APS 6 Fraud and Corruption Prevention Officer. You will support the ATO's response to fraud, corruption, insider threat, integrity and personnel security risks through the delivery of operational and strategic control activities.

Qualifications

• Degree or relevant professional experience in fraud prevention, investigations or compliance.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice on fraud, corruption and integrity risks across complex matters.
• Analyse intelligence and evidence material to identify emerging risks and inform decision-making.
• Support prevention initiatives under the Commonwealth Fraud and Corruption Control Framework and related policies.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver education, awareness and risk mitigation activities.
• Lead and develop colleagues in the delivery of complex work and integrity outcomes.
