Job summary

Sharp and Carter is seeking a Senior Commercial Analyst/FP&A professional to join the Group Finance function. The role will own key planning and reporting processes across the Group, including month-end reporting, forecasting, budgeting and executive reporting.

You will consolidate performance, identify risks and opportunities, and translate complex financial information into clear commercial insights for senior stakeholders. Hybrid working and career development are offered.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience across FP&A, commercial finance or management reporting.
• CA, CPA, CFA or equivalent qualification.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis experience.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, analytical and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver month-end management reporting.
• Lead monthly forecasting and Business Unit reporting.
• Drive the annual budgeting process.
• Consolidate Group financial results across a global business.
• Prepare monthly CFO reporting and Business Review packs.
• Analyse revenue, OPEX and profit performance.
• Identify key risks, opportunities and performance trends.
• Manage OPEX and partner with relevant business stakeholders.
• Provide meaningful financial insights and recommendations.
• Drive improvements across FP&A processes, systems and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive reporting and analysis.
• Deliver ad hoc financial modelling, reporting and analysis as required.
