Job summary

Qantas Airways is seeking a Finance Business Partner (FP&A) in Sydney, NSW. The role leads financial planning and analysis for Qantas Airlines, with a team of three analysts, owning the full planning cycle under a rolling forecast model and partnering with senior finance leaders to drive segment performance.

Based at Mascot HQ, the 12-month fixed-term, full-time position reports to the Head of Finance, Planning and Analysis.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in FP&A, commercial finance or finance business partnering with end-to-end forecast/budget ownership.
• Experience leading and developing a team with clear priorities.
• Strong driver-based forecasting and ability to separate material variances from noise.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly planning cycle and rolling forecast for Qantas Airlines.
• Own end-to-end planning cadence, partnering with senior finance leaders.
• Manage a team of three Senior Financial Analysts and develop capability.
• Present planning results to planning and performance forums and executives.
