Job description

As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will play a critical role in partnering with Marketing and Sales leaders to drive financial performance, improve ways of working, and deliver meaningful financial insights across the business.

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will be the key finance business partner for the Marketing Leadership Team and Sales SG&A, helping leaders make informed decisions while strengthening forecasting, budget ownership and performance visibility.

This isn't a role for someone who simply maintains the status quo. We're looking for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives on challenge, identifies opportunities for improvement, streamlines processes, and delivers insights that drive better business outcomes. You'll have the opportunity to influence senior stakeholders, improve how the business plans and forecasts, and help shape the future of the finance function.

About the Job

About You

Curious, confident and commercially astute, you're someone who enjoys understanding how a business operates and finding ways to make it better.

You bring a proactive mindset and are motivated by continuous improvement. Rather than simply reporting the numbers, you look beyond them, identifying trends, challenging assumptions and driving meaningful change.

You build strong relationships with stakeholders, communicate complex financial information clearly, and are comfortable influencing decisions across a range of business functions. Most importantly, you're someone who enjoys rolling up your sleeves and making a tangible impact.

What Your Days Look Like
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales leaders to manage operating expenses, headcount planning and investment decisions
  • Lead month-end reporting and analysis processes, providing insights and commentary on key drivers
  • Provide commercial insights and recommendations that support business performance and decision-making
  • Lead forecasting and annual budgeting processes across Marketing and Sales SG&A
  • Own month end journal and balance sheet reconciliation processes
  • Develop financial models and scenario analysis to support investment and resource allocation decisions
  • Improve forecast accuracy and drive stronger budget ownership, accountability and financial discipline across the business
  • Leverage tools such as Power BI and AI to automate reporting and reduce manual effort
  • Identify opportunities to improve planning, reporting and governance processes
  • Collaborate closely with Finance and cross-functional leaders to deliver high-quality financial outcomes
The Ingredients for Success

Just like you can't make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we're looking for:

  • Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline
  • CA, CPA or equivalent qualification preferred
  • Proven experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partnering roles
  • Strong experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders and influencing decision-making
  • Demonstrated success leading budgeting, forecasting and month-end processes
  • Passion for driving process improvement and operational efficiencies
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Experience with SAP, Power BI or similar reporting and planning tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a desire to challenge the status quo
Perks
  • 12 weeks paid parental leave for all new parents
  • Discounted gym memberships
  • Discounted health insurance
  • Free onsite parking
  • Discounted Arnott's products
  • Access to NAWO membership
  • Flexible and hybrid working arrangements
