Job summary

Uniting Vic.Tas is seeking an Advanced Case Manager Foster Care & Recruitment based in Werribee. This full-time role focuses on delivering high-quality case management for children in care and supporting foster carers and families.

You will manage placements, ensure safety and wellbeing for children on statutory orders, and collaborate with a network of professionals to support positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and families in the child protection area.
• Experience working effectively in a care team and managing complex relationships.
• Experience supporting young people to grow and develop.
• Experience working with traumatised young people.
• Understanding of statutory intervention.
• Experience networking with various professional services.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality case management and support to children and young people unable to live at home with their families.
• Manage foster care placements and ensure safety and wellbeing of children on statutory orders in care with foster carers.
• Support and provide ongoing guidance to volunteer foster carers and their families.
