Job summary

NSW Department of Education is seeking a Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting Support, to lead financial reporting and insights across Finance teams and schools in the Department. The role emphasizes data-driven analysis, clear stakeholder communication, and system/process improvements.

You will monitor query data, provide clear reporting, and advise on trends and issues, while supporting finance policy adherence and capability uplift across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the provision of financial reporting support and insights to Finance teams and schools across the Department.
• Oversee monitoring of query management data to identify trends and emerging issues, and provide reporting and advice to stakeholders.
• Help manage complex financial queries to inform service delivery priorities and capability uplift.
• Support improvements to financial systems, processes and ways of working in line with government policies.
