Grant Thornton Australia in Melbourne is seeking a Manager for the Financial Modelling team to lead complex modelling, forecasting and deal analysis for a range of clients.

You will deliver bespoke financial modelling for M&A, LBO, project finance and FP&A, guide junior team members, and develop client relationships to grow advisory services. The role offers a collaborative culture and opportunities to advance.

Qualifications

• Strong skillset in financial modelling within a professional/financial services environment.
• Experience in deal advisory, business enterprise valuation or corporate finance.
• Sound accounting knowledge and understanding of accounting standards.
• Analytical mindset focused on how businesses are structured and modelled.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, coaching and leadership abilities.
• Interest in business development and client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex financial models to analyse historical data, forecast performance and evaluate opportunities.
• Provide bespoke client service with tailor-made modelling for M&A, LBO, project finance, FP&A.
• Prepare financial feasibility studies and investment cases for greenfield/brownfield investments.
• Support presentations for diverse audiences, outlining sector narrative, strategy and financial implications.
• Lead and mentor junior team members to foster growth and collaboration.
• Collaborate with Advisory team to identify new opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
