Job summary

PwC Australia is seeking a Senior Associate to design and review bespoke financial models, develop low‑code analytics, and provide model assurance across M&A, capital raises and CFO priorities. You’ll work with clients across PE, infra and corporate sectors, driving data‑driven decisions.

The Modelling team delivers elegant representations of financial scenarios, supports PE/Infra funds with corporate and fund models, and trains teams to connect data with actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Power Query/Power Pivot for data transformation and modeling.
• Expertise in Power BI for interactive dashboards and client reporting.
• Strong financial modelling experience with large data sets.
• Tertiary qualifications in business, economics, finance, STEM or related discipline.
• Pursuit of CFA/CA qualifications or a Masters in a relevant field.
• Ancillary financial modelling courses such as FMI.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative finance solutions using lo-code/no-code tools.
• Design automated data pipelines connecting models to diverse data sources.
• Create Power BI dashboards to translate data into insights for stakeholders.
• Lead tailored financial models for M&A, capital raises, and CFO support.
• Provide model audit, data analytics, and training to clients.
• Mentor junior staff and manage projects within a team.
• Engage with clients to manage scope, risks, and schedules.
