Job summary

So Clean Pty Ltd seeks a qualified accountant/financial controller to manage financial operations and ensure compliance for a growing Australian business. You will oversee accounting, payroll tax, GST, BAS and tax compliance while engaging directly with the ATO and State Revenue Offices.

You will work with management to drive cash flow and sound commercial decisions, taking ownership of financial controls and relationships with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• We are looking for an experienced and qualified accountant who understands the financial and operational demands of a growing Australian business.
• Strong practical experience using MYOB.
• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting and taxation requirements.
• Demonstrated experience dealing directly with the ATO and State Revenue Offices.
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax, GST and BAS and company tax.
• Proven experience managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Strong reconciliation and financial management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The confidence to communicate directly with customers, suppliers, management and government authorities.
• The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of responsibilities.
• A commercially minded approach to financial management.
• The ability to identify issues before they become problems and take action to resolve them.
