Job summary

Australian Piling Group, based in Bella Vista, is seeking a Financial Controller to lead finance across three related businesses and manage a team of six.

You will drive monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, group consolidation and inter-company accounting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management while collaborating with operational and project leaders. This hands-on role supports the MD and Group CFO and develops finance systems.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualified with strong commercial judgement.
• Confident leading a team and partnering with senior leadership.
• Hands-on, practical and comfortable working across a multi-entity business.
• Construction, civil, manufacturing or project-based experience essential.
• Strong systems and process improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead a finance team of six.
• Monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Group consolidation and inter-company accounting.
• Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Working closely with operational and project leaders across the business.
• Monitoring project margins, profitability and working capital.
• Improving financial controls, processes and reporting.
• Supporting the MD and Group CFO with commercial decision making.
• Continuing to develop the finance systems as the business evolves.
