Senior Finance Analyst

Are you a commercially minded finance professional who thrives on driving business performance and partnering with stakeholders? This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading retail business and play a key role in optimising the supply chain function.

In this role, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver insightful analysis, financial modelling, and strategic advice that enables business transformation and improved profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Commercial Finance Manager across all aspects of supply chain finance, including providing financial modelling and business case support on major supply chain projects
  • Lead post-implementation reviews to measure project benefits and outcomes
  • Deliver monthly reporting, metrics, and commentary for senior leadership
  • Partner with stakeholders to prepare detailed budgets and forecasts
  • Present results and highlighting key risks and opportunities to drive informed decision-making
  • Support ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • At least 5+ years of experience in a commercial finance or business partnering role, ideally within retail, FMCG, eCommerce, or logistics
  • CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent) and highly proficient in financial modelling and working with large data sets
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence non-financial stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to challenge the status quo and deliver value-add insights
