Perigon Group Pty Limited in Brisbane seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to lead financial modelling and the administration of significant funding programs. You will work with senior leaders, oversee a small team and translate complex financial information into practical advice for decision-makers.
You'll engage with external stakeholders and government bodies, drive budgeting, planning and analysis, and contribute to strategic financial initiatives in a regulated environment.
An established Queensland based organisation is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Brisbane team.
Operating in a complex, highly regulated environment, the organisation works closely with a broad network of stakeholders and government bodies. Its finance function plays an important role in the administration of significant funding programs, financial governance and providing analysis that supports informed decision-making.
This is an opportunity to step into a highly visible position with exposure to senior leadership, external stakeholders and complex financial matters.
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst will lead a small specialist team and take ownership of financial analysis, modelling and the administration of significant funding programs.
This is not a traditional accounting role. You'll spend much of your time understanding complex financial information, building and maintaining models, interpreting funding arrangements and providing advice to stakeholders.
You'll also manage and develop a Financial Analyst, while working closely with senior leaders across the organisation.
You'll be a strong financial analyst who enjoys working with complex information and turning it into clear, practical advice.
The role requires someone who can move comfortably between detailed modelling and analysis, senior stakeholder conversations and leadership responsibilities. Strong communication will be particularly important, as you'll regularly explain financial and funding matters to stakeholders with varying levels of financial knowledge.
Experience within a regulated, government-funded or similarly complex environment would be advantageous, but is not essential.
