Job summary

Rest, one of Australia's largest profit-to-member super funds, seeks a Senior Financial Accountant to provide SME support for financial reporting across Rest Group entities, ensuring strong internal controls and timely governance. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Commerce (Accounting major preferred).
• CA or CPA designation.
• Demonstrated experience in financial services, professional services firm or a superannuation fund.
• Strong knowledge of financial and regulatory taxation reporting; applying accounting standards and policies.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the delivery of financial reporting and tax-related returns for Rest Group entities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with administrators, custodians, auditors and internal stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of systems, processes and reporting practices.
• Manage year-end timetable across Rest's group of entities to meet deadlines.
• Assist with ad hoc or emerging financial reporting tasks.
