Job summary

ModularWalls is seeking a Group Financial Accountant to lead the month-end close and group consolidation across four entities. You’ll manage intercompany eliminations and project accounting for our commercial operations, while partnering with the CFO on the wider finance function.

The role offers real progression potential into a Financial Controller position as the business grows, with exposure to leadership and cross-functional teams, and a flexible work arrangement including 1 day

Qualifications

• 4–5 years' experience in financial/group accounting, ideally manufacturing or project-based.
• CPA qualified or actively studying towards CPA/CA.
• Proven multi-entity consolidation and intercompany experience.
• Experience working with Xero and Salesforce.
• Ambitious and keen to grow into a Financial Controller role over time.
• Strong communicator, comfortable business-partnering with non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end month-end close across 4 entities.
• Monthly group consolidation (manual/Excel-based) incl. intercompany eliminations.
• Project accounting — WIP, cost tracking, margin analysis.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger integrity.
• Assist with statutory accounts, tax compliance (BAS/FBT) and audit.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting.
• Business partner with operations and project teams.
