Job summary

Renowned is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant in Melbourne to own statutory reporting and ASX compliance. You will lead year-end and month-end close, coordinate with external auditors and ensure robust financial controls.

The role is hybrid, with minimum 3 days in Cremorne office, and offers exposure to a fast-growing tech-enabled real estate platform. 5+ years in accounting and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Strong external audit, technical accounting or financial reporting background.
• Experience preparing statutory financial statements.
• Strong month-end, balance sheet reconciliation and financial control capability.
• Strong Excel and finance systems capability.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• 5+ years’ relevant accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of statutory financial statements, disclosures and technical accounting papers under Australian Accounting Standards.
• Prepare the finance inputs for Appendix 4C, 4D, 4E and other ASX financial reporting requirements.
• Act as the day-to-day point of contact for external auditors, coordinating audit schedules, supporting documentation and audit queries.
