Senior Financial Accountant | 18-Month Contract | Fully Remote

Our client is a global organisation delivering niche, high-impact services to the health and pharmaceutical sectors. Following a recent acquisition, the business is entering a key transition phase as it strengthens its presence across the APAC region.

The Role

As a pivotal member of the finance team, you'll report directly to the Finance Manager, who leads Audit, Accounting, and Finance Projects. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in month-end processes, statutory reporting, and managing technical accounting matters across international operations.

You'll bring a fresh perspective and contribute to both team and organisational goals. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading month-end close processes and reporting
• Completing reconciliations and supporting month-end procedures
• Preparing annual statutory reports and audit packs, including for overseas entities
• Managing tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions
• Supporting and promoting continuous improvement initiatives
• Contributing to a robust financial control framework
• Participating in finance-related projects, including a major ERP implementation
• Supporting the Finance Manager with team oversight and workflow management
• Providing assistance and backup to colleagues across the Corporate Services team as needed

You will join a supportive team in a high trust environment with all the tools required to set you up for success.

Your Profile

You are a CA or CPA-qualified accountant with at least 5 years of proven experience in a similar financial accounting role. You bring a strong technical skillset, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

Given the remote nature of this position, you must be self-motivated, able to work autonomously, and confident in delivering outcomes to strict deadlines.
