Richard Lloyd Recruitment in Sydney CBD is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant for a fast-growing education-sector client. The role sits in the CBD office with a hybrid arrangement and offers a salary of AUD 100,000 to 120,000 plus Super.

You will prepare financial reports, oversee statutory reporting and audits, manage month-end, cash flow forecasting, and intercompany reconciliations, and drive improvements using Power BI. CPA/CA qualification and at least 3 years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• CPA/CA qualification or studying towards.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience at Financial Accountant or Senior Accountant level.
• Strong month-end reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports and analysis to support senior management decision-making.
• Manage statutory reporting requirements, tax lodgements and external audit processes.
• Oversee month-end reporting, journal processing and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Develop and monitor rolling cash flow forecasts.
• Support group reporting through consolidation activities and intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare management reports and financial performance analysis.
• Drive improvements in financial systems, reporting efficiencies and process automation utilizing Power BI.

The Role

This Senior Financial Accountant position reports into a supportive manager. Your responsibilities will include the following:

Prepare financial reports and analysis to support senior management decision-making
