Job summary

Ashurst Perkins Coie Group in Brisbane is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract to join our high-performing Finance team. Reports to the Head of Financial Management APAC & PNG and will drive financial service delivery and a range of financial accounting outputs.

The role requires CA/CPA qualification with at least five years' experience in a similar role, ideally with audit and financial statement preparation in a professional services environment, and a solid

• CA/CPA qualified with at least five (5) years' experience in a similar role, ideally audit and financial statement preparation in a professional services environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and standards along with financial reporting, including working knowledge of IAS.
• Able to communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner, both written and verbal, across all levels of a global organisation.

Responsibilities

• Drive financial service delivery and take responsibility for a range of financial accounting outputs.
• Support the Australian finance team with timely and accurate reporting and compliance with IAS and other standards.

We have a 12month fixed term contract opportunity for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our high performing Finance team in Brisbane. Reporting to the Head of Financial Management APAC & PNG, you will be a key member of the Australian finance team driving financial service delivery and taking responsibility for a range of financial accounting outputs.
