u&u Recruitment Partners is seeking a commercially minded senior finance leader to drive transformation, analytics and reporting capability across a complex organisation. Lead product profitability and cost-to-serve initiatives while uplifting dashboards and management reporting.

The role focuses on strengthening finance business partnering, automating processes, and leveraging Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to improve reporting, workflows and controls.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualification and relevant tertiary qualification.
• Strong practical experience with Dynamics 365 F&O.
• Proven experience in product profitability, service-line analysis or cost-to-serve modelling.
• Strong finance business partnering skills with senior executives and stakeholders.
• Advanced Power BI and data analytics capability.
• A track record of delivering finance transformation, process improvement and automation initiatives.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on senior finance professional to combine commercial finance, data analytics and process improvement, delivering meaningful outcomes while building sustainable capability across the Finance team.

The opportunity

Reporting to the Group Executive, Finance & Risk, with day-to-day direction from the General Manager, Finance, you will play a key role in strengthening finance operations and accelerating priority improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include

• Implementing product profitability and cost-to-serve models to improve commercial decision-making;
• Uplifting management reporting, dashboards and analytics using Power BI;
• Strengthening finance business partnering and providing actionable commercial insights;
• Driving finance transformation, process automation and ERP optimisation;
• Leveraging Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to improve reporting, workflows and controls;
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, month-end and Executive, Board and Committee reporting; and
• Coaching team members, documenting processes and embedding sustainable ways of working.

About you

You are a commercially minded finance leader who enjoys getting hands-on, solving problems and turning data into meaningful business insights.

You will bring

• CA/CPA qualification and a relevant tertiary qualification;
• Strong practical experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations;
• Proven experience in product profitability, service-line analysis or cost-to-serve modelling;
• Strong finance business partnering skills with senior executives and stakeholders;
• Advanced Power BI and data analytics capability;
• A track record of delivering finance transformation, process improvement and automation initiatives; and
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.

You are pragmatic, collaborative and organised, with the ability to lead initiatives through influence rather than direct reports.
