Job summary

Accenture Australia is seeking a Senior Finance Transformation professional to drive CFO agenda initiatives across Finance strategy, operating model design, and integrated planning. You will lead value cases, process improvements, and digitisation programs, partnering with Australian clients and senior stakeholders.

You will engage with C-level leaders, shape finance solutions across multiple sectors, and contribute to AI-enabled finance innovations, in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Finance Transformation for large clients in top-tier consulting.
• Proven delivery of finance operating models from design to implementation.
• Experience with Shared Services/Outsourcing arrangements.
• Strong ability to work with C-level leadership and across industries in Australia.
• Knowledge of emerging finance technologies like SAP, Oracle, Workday, Anaplan and OneStream.

Responsibilities

• Lead CFO Transformation initiatives across Finance strategy, operating model and planning.
• Design and deliver value cases, process design and forecasting improvements.
• Collaborate with senior executives and global teams to deliver outcomes.

WHO WE ARE:

The CFO & EV team works with clients to tackle issues of importance to the Chief Financial Officer, principally in the development and implementation of new finance operating models, finance organisation strategies, treasury and risk management strategies, and development of new business insight and performance management capabilities. Our analysis, insight and recommendations enable our clients to achieve long‑term transformation and growth.

THE WORK:

You will be working on significant Transformation in the CFO Agenda across our offerings of Finance Strategy, Value Case, Operating model, Process design, Integrated Planning and Forecasting and Global Business Services

Location: Melbourne/ Sydney/ Brisbane/ Perth

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Proven experience within a top tier consulting firm providing Finance Transformation services for clients
• Proven experience in delivering transformation projects to improve Finance functions, including Finance operating models (design to implementation, including Shared Services / Outsourcing), Finance organisation design, Finance process improvement and digitisation (OTC, RTR, PTP, FP&A)
• Proven history of working successfully with C-level leadership.
• Prior experience in developing and delivering Finance related solutions across industry sectors in Australia
• Ability to manage and solve complex business problems
• An undergraduate degree is a necessity with qualifications in Finance highly regarded
• Knowledge of the Australian Market
• Entrepreneurial spirit, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Advisory experience into key Finance digital technologies (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Workday, Anaplan, Onestream etc.)
• Broad understanding of AI / Generative AI / Agentic and their potential impact on finance processes, with keen interest in emerging trends.
