Job summary

Allura Partners is partnering with a PE-backed Financial Services business to appoint a Senior Finance Manager who will report to the Group Financial Controller. The role focuses on multi-entity financial reporting, technical accounting and statutory compliance across the group.

Ideally you are CA/CPA qualified with 8+ years in financial reporting, strong IFRS/AASB knowledge, and a proven track record leading finance teams through complex structures.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in financial reporting, technical accounting and statutory compliance.
• Strong grasp of IFRS and AASB.
• Proven experience leading finance teams through complex, multi-entity structures.
• ERP proficiency and ability to optimise financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Run month-end and year-end close across multiple entities with accurate reporting.
• Prepare and review journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Prepare monthly cashflows with management commentary.
• Support statutory financial statements and audit workpapers at group and entity level.
• Lead technical accounting papers and maintain group accounting policies.
• Manage intercompany journals, reconciliations and eliminations across the group.
• Maintain strong financial controls across GL, fixed assets, leases and provisions.
• Identify and implement process improvements across financial reporting.
• Coach and develop a team of group accountants.

Allura Partners are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a PE backed Financial Services business on a search for a Senior Finance Manager, reporting into the Group Financial Controller.As the group scales, they need a technically sharp Senior Finance Manager to help hold the numbers together across a multi-entity structure.

The role

• Run month-end and year-end close across multiple entities, keeping reporting accurate and on time
• Prepare and review journals, accruals and prepayments in line with accounting standards
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items properly
• Prepare monthly cashflows with commentary for management review
• Support statutory financial statements and audit workpapers at group and entity level
• Lead technical accounting papers and keep group accounting policies current
• Manage intercompany journals, reconciliations and eliminations across the group

About you:

• Ideally big 4 trained
• 8+ years in financial reporting, technical accounting and statutory compliance
• Strong grasp of AASB and IFRS
• Proven experience leading finance teams through complex, multi-entity structures
• ERP proficiency
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with real attention to detail
• Track record driving process improvement and reporting efficiency
• Comfortable managing relationships across subsidiary leadership and external advisers
