Job summary

Hargrave Technologies seeks a Senior Finance Manager to lead the finance function, reporting to the CEO. You will own budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A processes, delivering strategic financial guidance to support growth across our global operations.

The role offers flexible hours (60–100% FTE) and a hybrid working pattern. Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required, with pre-employment screening; remote work options may apply where appropriate.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualified with at least 7 years experience in accounting and FP&A.
• Experience building bottoms-up cash forecasts and providing financial data to leadership.
• Experience managing foreign exchange and international trade.

We have a team of highly dedicated engineers and manufacturing specialists who design our power electronics and manufacture the lightest and highest performance components for unmanned electric aircraft for both the Defence and Civil sectors.

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Senior Finance Manager to step into a newly created role. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will take ownership of our Finance function.

About You

You will be a highly capable CA or CPA, with at least 7 years experience in accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). You will thrive in a progressive commercial work environment where you ensure all the daily accounting and finance technology, processes and approvals are highly efficient, effective and compliant. You will be building out bottoms up cash forecasts, and ensuring optimal financial oversight of inventory and supply chains. You are technologically astute and have demonstrated experience directly managing foreign exchange and international trade, and in providing insightful financial data and commercial recommendations to the leadership.
